Account and data deletion

Here is how to delete your Design3dHome account and everything you uploaded to the cloud. Requests are completed within 30 days at the latest.

You have 30 days to change your mind

If you delete your account it closes immediately, but the data stays for another30 days: you can restore the account by signing in during that window. After it closes there is no way back. If there are projects you want to keep, export them as .d3d files first: open the project list, tap the project, then Share.

Deleting a single project

  1. Open the app and sign in.
  2. Open the projects screen.
  3. Select the project you want to remove and delete it.

The project is removed from both your device and the cloud.

Deleting the whole account

The easiest way is inside the app:

  1. Open the app and sign in.
  2. From the drawer open My profile and scroll to Account.
  3. Tap Delete my account, enter your password and confirm.

Your account closes at that moment and you are signed out everywhere. If you change your mind you can sign in again within 30 days to restore it; the link in the email we send does the same thing.

If you cannot sign in

If you have forgotten your password or cannot reach the app, write tosupport@design3dhome.comfrom the email address registered to your account. Put“Account deletion request” in the subject line; no other information is needed. We acknowledge requests within 1 business day and complete them within30 days.

What gets deleted

Permanently removed once the 30-day window closes:

  • Your email address.
  • Your profile: first name, last name, phone number, profile photo.
  • Your linked sign-in methods (Google, Facebook, Apple) and your password.
  • All of your projects in the cloud.

All that remains is an anonymous record: the account number, the dates it was opened and closed, and the start and end dates of the free trial. It exists to count how many accounts were created and to confirm that the trial was granted once; it cannot be used to identify you.

What does not get deleted

  • Projects on your device. They never reached us; they stay on your phone and are removed when you uninstall the app.
  • Files you exported. Any .d3d, PDF or CSV files you shared are under your own control.
  • Records we are required by law to retain (if any) are kept for the statutory period.

If you signed in with Facebook or Google

Deleting your Design3dHome account does not affect your account with that provider — only your Design3dHome record is removed. To also revoke the app's access on Facebook: Facebook →Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites →Design3dHome → Remove.
